For the 10th anniversary of GitHub Universe, GitHub’s annual conference, the visual identity needed to honor a decade of innovation while setting a bold new direction. Partnering closely with GitHub’s design team, we developed a 3D-led visual system that celebrated the developer community and their collaborative efforts that have led to monumental innovation. The system flexed across massive stage screens, intricate print layouts, and cinematic opening titles, always maintaining a sense of scale and cohesion

Over the course of several weeks, I helped shape the 3D design language through explorations in form, lighting, materiality, and motion. I also led a small team of other 3D artists to help craft the intro title sequence based on our key visuals that kicked off the conference.
